What is the difference between Fragrance Oils and Essential Oils?

Essential Oils 

Essential oils are natural liquids, derived from plants (roots, bark, leaves, flower petals, etc) rich in many bio chemicals each having its own unique profile and therapeutic effect. They are natural medicines, able to heal, ease stress, uplift your mood and nourish your body. At Scents of Peace, we only use high-quality, therapeutic grade essential oils that we source from a New Zealand supplier that shares our company values. Quality essential oils are extremely important in aromatherapy as this affects the performance of a blend.

Fragrance Oils

Fragrance oils are created in the chemistry lab and have an infinite number of aroma possibilities from coconut to fresh baked cookies. Fragrance oils have received a bad connotation in the past due to quality variances in their wide spread use. It is important to note that fragrance oils used at Scents of Peace are wholesome and made of the highest quality oils available on the market today. At Scents of Peace, we understand scents are personal and offer you a choice in different types of oils. This way, we are able to make any scent you desire, obtainable.

Why do I need to get a quote for my Customised Aromatherapy order?

Due to the variances in prices of different essential oils used to create a blend, all enquiries for Customised Aromatherapy will receive a quote stating how much it will cost to create that particular blend. A small fee is also applied for each customised order. We will always quality test a scent blend prior to creation to ensure that it is a harmonious scent.
